FBM brings new landbased and online gaming experiences to try at FIJMA 2022

The Mashantucket Pequot Tribe and the Mohegan Tribe ran the whole show in January contributing $11.1m and $7.7m respectively. As much as there was an increase in the general gaming reserve in Connecticut, the players taking power dropped by 4.2% from December. Players staked the most on Foxwoods Resort Casino with up to $502m for January. Coming in second was Mohegan Digital which players staked $277m in. Online Mobile gaming also contributed to the State with $440,460 coming from Foxwood’s Resort Casino, making it one of the high performers in January.

There was also a drop in player wins from December 2021, a total of $757.3m was paid out to the winner and the majority of those winnings were from Foxwoods Resort Casino.As a result of these earnings, The State of Connecticut received $3.3m from online casino gaming but received $1.0m from online sports betting.

The majority of the money received by Connecticut from Online sports betting was from Mashantucket Pequot Tribe’s Foxwoods Resort Casino, Mohegan Digital and the Connecticut Lottery Corporation make up the other contributors to the state.

Interestingly, Retails Sports wagering saw an increase from December accumulating to $8.7m with winning jumping up to $7.8m, making the gross gaming revenue to total $825,369

It is important to understand that the only companies allowed for sports betting operations are the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe, The Mohegan Tribe and the Connecticut Lottery Corporation. This explains why much of the state contributions come from these three groups.
